whenever you celebrate a event or occasion, do you actually know the history behind it ?? or maybe even to find out . . But this time, i don't know what's wrong with me, i went to find out for the history of VALENTINE'S DAY . . is it really that you have to celebrate this DAY with ur partner ?? well to be honest i can't be bothered coz every year i celebrate it alone so what's the diff ?? but guess what i'm spending valentine's day at the airport, spending time with those aircrafts . .
THE HISTORY OF VALENTINE'S DAY :
According to one legend, Valentine actually sent the first 'valentine' greeting himself. While in prison, it is believed that Valentine fell in love with a young girl -- who may have been his jailor's daughter -- who visited him during his confinement. Before his death, it is alleged that he wrote her a letter, which he signed 'From your Valentine,' an expression that is still in use today. Although the truth behind the Valentine legends is murky, the stories certainly emphasize his appeal as a sympathetic, heroic, and, most importantly, romantic figure, The history of Valentine's Day -- and its patron saint -- is shrouded in mystery. But we do know that February has long been a month of romance . .
no one actually knows the true meaning behind this, couples just thinks that it's so special that normally the guys would spend a bomb on flowers, bears, gifts etc just to make the gurl happy.. not necessary that you need to spend valentine's day together as a couple. . singlehood people don't you worry !! you can spend it with ur friends as well DON'T BE A SOUR GRAPE K. coz at the end of the day, relationships last longer den friendships coz no matter what happens, ur friends are the ones who stand by you when you need them..
to ma singlehood friends out there : it's just another day for us to rejoyce and have fun !! rmbr don't be a sour grape k . . no matter what happens, jassie gurl still loves you all , thanks 4 being there when i needed you guys..
-special *hugs* to ma stones ! !
